rests no more squarely than on the working people of the country.

The very wealthy tend not to work and be taxed in the same way the rest of us are, so they’re sort of out of the equation.

The people who work foot the bill. Sure, there are some who pay more, and some who pay almost nothing at all, but the middle and upper middle class pay for- well, pretty much everything.

To someone who actually knows what poverty is, to someone who is smart enough not to buy the leftist “feelings” that the ‘Rich” need to be taxed more to “help” the poor, it’s obvious that the only way to improve the situation anywhere is to offer incentive to the people who produce. The incentive of being able to keep the fruit of their labor. The incentive of being able to profit from their industriousness. The incentive of knowing that the taxes they pay are being used wisely by competent people to do necesary things.

Once upon a time all those things were true here. The socialist agenda we have enjoyed for years has changed the outlook of the worker from empowered citizen to galley slave. Nobody who doesn’t get this now ever will. The internet is not going to magically transform us into a nation of people who have a solid grasp on reality- in fact, the internet is if anything, better at spreading stupid ideas than good ones. The best that we can hope for is that there will be honest class warfare, the wrfare of the people who work against the people who twist reality to suit their agenda. It has no business being “Rich vs poor” it needs to be “ruling vs ruled”. Remember that as you collect your wits to go out into the world.
