Did HR3200 not drive home the lesson that the FedGov will do precisely as it pleases with or without your support, despite or perhaps because of your protestation? How many times do you have to be burned before you stop sticking your hand in the fire?

When the person who ordinarily comes to a complete stop before turning right into a dreiveway or parking lot will NOW come to a complete stop and proceed at the speed of the engine’s idle into the lot lest his tires lose traction for even a millisecond. I am to say the least not amused.

And this is only one of the many reasons why.

Last sunday, it dawned on me who our new associate pastor most resembles. I knew it was someone famous, but i couldn’t place the name. Short guy, husky, big pompadour….

Oh, lord.

Now I will not be able to get that image out of my head, forever. The new associate pastor is a plenty nice guy and i think he’ll do extremely well. I just won’t ever be able to look at him again without thinking about hamburgers.
