I have never shot an animal in my life that was not a: A varmint eating my food or damaging my property, b: a varmint eating someone elses’s food or damaging his property, or c: intended for the dinner table.

I do not hunt for sport, and have never hunted for sport. Every animal I shot in Africa fed me and other people, every non-varmint animal I have ever shot has been eaten. In Africa the animals I shot fed literally hundreds of people. When i process a deer every single piece of meat I can extract from it ends up on the table in one format or another. I would not consider being involved in hunting for sport, and if I can get involved in talking people to Africa for hunting it will be to give people the opportunity to hunt, and to feed people in africa with the meat.

To suggest otherwise is the single most offensive thing anyone has ever said to me.
