Whiny bitches begging for recount in 5, 4, 3, 2,….
This could be the beginning of something tasty.

This little valve, yesterday, was the bane of my existence, for a brief time.
The plastic broke, spraying two gallons of coolant all over the engine compartment. I managed to get it to a gas station where I replaced the whole assembly with a piece of pipe I had in the toolbox, and a couple of hose clamps, which I also had. A woman stopped and watched me wrenching, whistling and giggling to myself.
“You’re in a pretty good mood for someone broken down in a gas station” she said.
“I’ll have this fixed in a minute, I can walk in that door over there and buy new coolant, and I’ll still be home in time for the new episode of Top gear”
“You have a low threshold of fun”
“if I could get a blowjob right now, honey, I could levitate”
Tact has never been one of my fine points, but at least she laughed as she walked away.
Which is not, by the way, made of silver or a size 7
is what I listen for when I listen to anyone.
I’ve spent an awful lot of my life in hotels, on the road, up late at night, whatever.
There have been plenty of times that all the entertainment that existed was the gospel station on the local TV affiliate. When i began doing this, it was rare for an individual to have a computer or a cellphone. it was almost unheard of for anyone to have a pager. I remember getting my first pager and my first Phone Card. I could get a page nationwide (well, not in a tunnel or in most buildings or in a hotel or in a big car) but almost anywhere outdoors, in most metropolitan areas, I could get a page, and find a payphone, and make a call without having to dig around for a lot of change.
Anyway, back in the bad old days, as now, I watch a certain amount of TV evangelism. Even the most miserable types occasionally come across with a word of wisdom here or there, and I’ll take inspiration where I can find it.
it doesn’t mean that I have any great love for any of those people, but the Creator opens my ears to the good things they have to say. That’s very nice.
