Just got a handful of new 1911 mags from an Ebay auction. And damned nice mags they were, too. Outside shows normal wear, but inside they’re clean and smooth. No dents, no dings. All same maker, all nice clean feed lips. Look forward to testing them out this weekend.

Saturday, just as I was getting ready to mow, it started raining. Then I had to wait for it to dry again(a fast sunshower) and as I got about 3/4 through the yard, it hammered me again. I motioned to the wife to get me my hat, and finished the job singing Donald Fagins “Walk between the raindrops”. Mercifully, all the neighbors were safe indoors at the time.

it is clearly, as several people have put it, not anything like time to press the proverbial reset button on this country. On the other hand, it’s clear that the US of A is infected with all manner of viruses. What system is analogous to an Antivirus program that will clear the corruption and waste, and allow the prcess to get back to speed again?
