Faith and humanity.

I have come to believe that the natural human condition is to have faith in something. A large number of people have faith in a Creator. SOme people have placed their faith in Science. Some in Al Gore.

The thing I’ve also come to notice is that once you have dedicated your faith to a specific thing, you will fight to defend the object of your faith with remarkable fury. No matter if it’s PC, or Mac, or Algore, H&K, or Colt, or Glowbull Warming, or the Pentecostals, or tattoos, or piercing, or fashion, the object of your faith becomes more important to you than common decency, or freedom, or the bonds of friendship. I’m sure everyone notices this, but I’m just finding that people who believe they have no faith are the “worst offenders” to coin a phrase(not to say they are bad, or offensive, just that they defend their faith with such vigour) Anyway, just an observation.

I Win! I Win!!!

Three weeks, trying to get the whole damned lawn mowed on one day- or even one weekend- but lately, the weather or whatever hasn’t wanted me to do so. But today, though I managed to get rained out, I persevered and mowed the last quarter acre or so wet. But it’s all the same height. Yay me!

Only a complete bastard

would eat a gyros omeleette with swiss cheese and then fart in front of a fan.

Mweh. I been called a lot of stuff.
