Her birthday is coming up on the 8th.

Tomorrow, you’ll get to meet Patton. Her new, baby Great Pyrenees.

Any dog that qualifies as “fearless, and used to haul artillery over the Pyrenean Mountain range to and from Spain and France” is okay in my book. And yes, he’s a shelter dog, the same as Bear. Coming from the pound.
One other thing… Patton will be a daddy’s boy.

Impala liver pate. Ate this at a small private game ranch in Zambia. Also sampled a half dozen different game meats in a kind of a wierd mixed grill. This post by Elisson jogged my memory.

The pate, as well as the Impala, were incredible. SO I know the chef was capable.
