I have for a very long time been the Walt Kowalski of the internet, a grouchy, cantankerous old man who tears into the idiots that wander in, and I’m not apologetic about it, and I don’t care who dislikes it.
People who have met me in person know that aside from the occasional harsh aromas, I’m gracious to my friends and I enjoy the lively art of conversation. i will always continue to hold my friends in high regard and do my utmost to be a good friend to them.
The political situation has conspired to make me grouchier than ever and more mean spirited than ever, and if you don’t like it, you’re probably the problem. “We’re not there yet” and “we have to be civil” earn only one response: Get thee behind me, Satan.
When I was born there were only 48 states, no welfare, and no GCA1968. At each incremental loss of liberty and creation of entitlement, we have been “there”. Our enemies have used our civility against us, and it is a formidable weapon in their hands.
The fourth estate/fifth column is one leg of the unholy tripod upon which our enemies stand. Academia the second, and labor unions the third. Merely electing “better” people in november will change nothing, because no matter how pissed off people get, no matter what happens in the next election cycle, these three will continue to support the worst of the worst on an elevated platform from which they may snipe at us at will. We need- not to punish the elected officials who will just be replaced by others as bad or worse (as the last thirty years of our history has proven indisputably) but to kick the legs out from under this elevated platform, and make the playing field level. Blaming Pelosi for the bullshit we currently experience is like blaming the waitress for the arrival of a shit sandwich. She just delivered what her betters handed to her, and since you ordered it, you get to eat it.
No mas, sez i. I know what has to be done. So do you. Don’t talk about it, do it.

Apparently there are a few tea partiers who cant spell. Quelle surprise.
I imagine I could find a few idiots in other demonstrations too.
the difference is, tea partiers tend to be civil, clean, and are fighting for freedom for all Americans. The idiots that are protesting against, are for slavery, for it is slavery to expect me to work and them to profit.
A couple friends have suggested that the tea parties are ugly and full of violence. Anybody see evidence of this, especially in the south, like houston, dallas, atlanta? I suspect the reporting involves one or two idiots that get all the camera time, ignoring the vast majority of peaceful protestors. Or the media is covering counter-protests and labelling them “tea partiers”. Or “teabaggers”. If I meet someone who uses that term, I’m going to duct tape them down and demonstrate what it actually means, and I have the equipment to demonstrate it like no other. “God, it feels like a wet, hairy crown royal bag with tennis balls in it”
