as I wait for my dentist’s appt., and Bond is looking at some microfilm that’s supposed to be some type of sub tracking device.
Instead it’s clearly the ignition diagram for some 6 cylinder engine.
Dot com sent me some Fiocchi ammo a while back, and I spoke briefly about it, but here’s the full review.
I took this out and shot it in my Colt Government 380. It was hell on steel plates, and fed perfectly in the Colt, which has been balky in the past with other hollowpoints. So I saved two magazines’ worth, and they are now my carry ammo- this, frankly, replacing a sleeve of Glaser Safety slugs that have been there for ages.
The Glasers were expensive- too expensive to practice with. Using the Fiocchi, which expanded nicely and is inexpensive enough to practice with, makes a better fit, for me- I’m practicing with actual carry ammo and know what it will do and how well it will work.
Ammo for sale has decent prices on most of their stuff, but have a sale on 45 ACp right now which is, again, pretty nearly the cost of components.
has a receptionist who proudly displays a Confederate flag above her computer monitor, right there in the office.
I’ve never said anything, but it always made me wonder, because she is black, and built like Grace Jones.
So One day I’m standing there and mentioned the flag, and she said “I LOVE the british. I love watching BBC tv! I watch it all the time! When I saw that at a truck stop on my way home from vacation one day, I HAD to have it!!”
I’m not going to be the one to point out to her that a confederate flag is not a union jack.
