That Gertrude Stein invented internet comment spam. Witness this excerpt from her magnum opus:
The instance of there being more is an instance of more. The shadow is not shining in the way there is a black line. The truth has come. There is a disturbance. Trusting to a baker’s boy meant that there would be very much exchanging and anyway what is the use of a covering to a door. There is a use, they are double.
I will never bitch about Ein Rand again. She was long winded but mostly coherent.
I’ll be on edge until this is done, but nothing I can do about it. I just want these trees down so I don’t have to worry about them falling on something or someone.
I love em, and I hate to see them come down, but I have three, one dead, one dying, one leaning perilously close to the house. And today they come down. Assuming the tree service shows up. it is bloody cold out there, I would not blame them one bit if they did not.
Update: they took a look and ran off. The boss, who does the quoting, apparently doesn’t do the cutting. And they’re short a climber; I don’t blame them, I wouldn’t want to do this job short a man either.
