Cooney is still healthy, and fine, thanks for all your prayers and thoughts- bt the cat is still some kind of useless.

The other night, I saw him laying in the kitchen, and a mouse ran right across his paws from under the stove to under the sink. He was oblivious.

Now, cooney was never a mouser- he will catch and kill a rabbit, once in a while, but mice apparently just don’t interest him. Still, you’d think that a mouse right on your paw would be a treat for a cat, right?

Well, this does a pretty good job.

I felt like a fucking heel. Get a car together for them and it dies no where near home.

On the one hand, had I taken the trans to my local guy (Widco) I know I would have gotten a better job. On the other hand, I took it to a chain place so they’d have warranty coverage down there, which turned out to be a good thing.

I’m glad it all turned out for the best. I stumble across a good deal once in a while, and this was one, but the agita I got over leaving Kim and Connie stranded in BF egypt made me insane.

Had a White Castle two hamburgers kids meal for $2.49. Had to throw away the fries. Still have half a burger and half a drink left. I suppose I’ll be eating appetizers as my main courses for years to come.
