the scent of the hunt in the air, the turning leaves, the frost on the grass in the morning.

Just not usually in AUGUST.

What with the problems I had getting parts for my mower this spring, and all the BS with work, I have not been able to completely mow the lawn this year, it’s all been piecework. Until saturday, that is. Last saturday I mowed the top, the hill, the bottom, weedwhacked, etc. A couple of years ago this would have killed me. Now I don’t even get winded.
