Ryan drinks the milk.

That may have been the cleanest overall race I ever watched, and I am pleased to have seen it.

Sad to see Jim doing so poorly. I had hoped he’d be around for the 100th anniversary- but, well, the fat lady hasn’t sung yet, yes?

I had hoped they’d run the Cobe Cup– even just one lap, just for old times sake, especially seeing it’s where I grew up.

I would like to go sit at the track one more time, maybe I’ll have a chance. Maybe I should make plans for the 100th running. If it was like todays race, it would be well worthwhile.

Is there anyone as gracious and professional as Helio Castroneves? I love that little bugger.

Feel bad for Kanaan. He had a good car and a good team.

Good field of rookies, too. Nice to see that, actually. And Partner and his girlfriend and the ogwife and oglet shared a hunk of prime rib as big as my head. Which could have been a bit better, but it was pretty good.

Open wheel.

Vettel has already lost the race, bugger. He was the guy to beat, in my mind, but no power and stuck in first gear. Unless they pile up the race he will finish poorly. Now I’m watching Kimi Raikkonen, whose Ferrari will, I hope, jam it up the keisters oif the AMG monkeys.

Update 1: 18 laps in and the chicane is covered in marbles. They said the track was cold but damn.

U2: From my dear old friend and confidant Mlle Jenny, in conversation last night. “I miss the days of Jackie Stewart at Indy. Unlike the people anouncing today, he knew when to STFU.

U3: Shootout between Infinity and Mercedes. I wish they’d given Ricciardo’s car to Vettel, he’d have won this race with a car that ran, dammit. Raikkonen and Magnussen out. Bugger. No! Raikkonen is back in with new tires!
