I wish the hell we could have a collective effort to “buy back” those firearms from private citizens. I bet there’s a lot of damned $1500 guns that get “bought” for $100, and make it into the hands of people who have no business.

Why not send the violent criminals collected through the United States to places like Chicago, and California, where the lack of firearms will render them completely harmless? I’d buy a guy a bus ticket in a heartbeat, if I thought it would do some good. What say ye? I hear Morton Grove is nice this time of year.

We had a tenth of an inch of rain last night, or less. A nice, warm midsummer rain, but still. Wish the front would blow some of that okie rain up here. Not hot, mind you, just dry.
