Ed Hering has sent me two of his pieces now, one several months ago and another last night, which I stayed up and read through the night.

let me make this clear: I have not read SF extensively in the last – what, ten years? preferring classic fiction over modern, and what modern fiction I do read are mostly murder mysteries, like you eat popcorn.

Ed’s work is good, the science he uses is believable and good, his characters are believable and likeable, and the drama between characters is enjoyable and not strained. He can tell a story, which so damned many supposed storytellers cannot.

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to annoy Ed until he puts outhis books in readable format- Kindle, even, or self-published, but ideally published through a real publisher, because his stuff is that good. Go, minions. Annoy Ed until he shares the wealth.
