Last year, at the end of deer season, I bought two Stearns rainsuits. They were xxl, which then wouldn’t have fit me but now do just fine. So I wanted to know how they worked, and I slipped into one and went out to clean the gutters.
Drug the ladder up and down the gutters digging the catkins out. Hands got soaked, of course, but otherwise, not a drop of rain penetrated, and I came in and removed the suit, dry as a bone. Definitely reccomend, and on clearance at Walmart, they were $4. Comes in a nice cloth bag into which they can easily be reinserted once dried and folded.
Chinese, unfortunately, but many of Stearns other products are still made in US.
yes, I was outside wearing only a rainsuit and crocs, standing on a metal ladder, cleaning gutters during a thunderstorm. What?
Had he done what Dupnik wanted him so desperately to do, we’d be in the middle of a full-blown campaign of character assassination towards our troops here and abroad, and we’d be hearing things from wingnuthead like “These misguided men and women have been brainwashed by the corrupt and violent system, along with the military industrial complex. Extensive debriefing will be taking place, and our military will stand down and be pulled back from all their current deployments. This comes at the most oppportune time; the de-funding of the obviously unnecesary military will prevent more incidents of this type, and the sale of our unnecesary weaponry will solve our budget crisis and make America the peace-loving country I know it can be”
I hope to God I’m wrong.
